Cyberdrive: 2077 was my first experience doing remote development for MassDiGI starting in May of 2019 before the Covid-19 pandemic. We found that people were quitting the game around the second “Node” or level so my main job was to go in, figure out why, and fix it. Through some play testing I found that the difficulty spiked in that Node and then dropped back down in Node 3. With collaboration with the art team and some tweaking to starting in May of 2019. the procedural generation of that Node, we leveled the difficulty curve to where players weren’t immediately quitting. After the difficulty issue was solved I moved over the designing and creating the UI for the Missions System. My time on this project was extremely helpful when adjusting to my time working remote during the pandemic.
