Responsibilities: Create fun and engaging missions that teach children soft and hard skills.

Heroic Game Day is an educational live MMORPG tailored towards underprivileged K-6 students in the United States where they learn soft and hard skills from a cast of super heroes. This game is built to be played on Chromebooks so performance is the highest priority.

  • Manage a small team of programmers tasked with releasing content with every sprint.

  • Writing and pitching narrative designs based off of educational prompts created by a team of educators.

  • Writing dialogue for a cast of unique characters to go with the mission.

  • Writing Design Documents for every feature in each mission.

  • Designing engaging mini-games that align with the lesson being taught.

  • Staging levels and encounters in engine.

  • Balancing rewards for completing the missions including currency and items.

  • Participating in dungeon testing and QA testing.

  • Polishing existing live missions to improve the quality of game play.

  • Consistently collaborating with art teams and programming teams to improve game quality and feel.
